Starting February 21st, Amazon will increase prices for Music Unlimited Individual and Student plans.
The Amazon Music Unlimited Individual plan will increase in price from $9.99 to $10.99 per month.(opens in new window), the student plan has increased from $4.99 to $5.99 per month. Amazon says it’s doing this “so that we can offer more content and features,” but has yet to announce what that content or feature will be.
Amazon recently increased the price of Music Unlimited for Prime members last April. The same explanation was given for “new content and features” for subscribers who should pay more for the service.
