In the session, the process of introducing the coupon system to Artsakh was introduced. It was noted that the technical and organizational work of issuing coupons for the sale of groups of essential foodstuffs was carried out according to established timeframes. From today, 200 stores in the capital Stepanakert and 400 stores in rural areas have started selling 5 types of food with coupons. Necessary groceries were supplied to the stores from state reserves. In parallel, monitoring of prices and the current situation is carried out by the respective state commissions.
The Minister of State believed that food products should be distributed as evenly as possible to the exchanges. By comparison, before the lockdown, his 400 stores were served by suppliers in Artsakh, and the rest were resold. It was said that the number of stores offering it was reduced. increased and reached 600.
At the meeting, the situation regarding energy supply in Artsakh was also announced. It was reported that he remained tense. Planned blackouts and shortages of natural gas supplies have increased the number of accidents in Artsakh’s energy system, resulting in occasional violations of power supply schedules. The Secretary of State has directed the submission of recommendations aimed at regulating the situation under the current circumstances.
He also instructed them to formulate proposals to further secure the livelihoods of the Aatsakh population and overcome the humanitarian crisis and submit them to the Security Council for discussion.
