Here’s the content!
New classes: Maegu and Woosa (not Bad Boys references)
They are touted as the first twin class to be released in Black Desert. Woosa, heavily influenced by Korean folklore, was first released on PC and console versions, while Maegu released on mobile for now. will be Woosa moves very much like a Sorceress, casting spells quickly at both medium and close range. She’s very flashy, fairly fast and mobile, and even comes with AP buffs and DP debuffs. I’m certainly going to try her out when it’s released.
Then there is a new region, Land of the Morning Light. This region will be provisionally released in South Korea in mid-February, followed by other regions. This area is at the northernmost tip of the North Continent and was once called Port Rat, now Nampo Port. This region functions differently than most other regions and features “Boss Rush” monsters. Each boss you encounter has elaborate mechanics and even has a guild co-op version. He has 8 of these bosses and can be soloed.
Fallen God’s Gloves have also been released, adding even more to this tier’s armor collection. There isn’t much to add here as it will be a step up from the other boss gloves as usual. (All AP +2, All Accuracy +3, All Damage Reduction +5, All Evasion +7, Max HP +75, Max MP/WP/SP +50, Max Stamina +50, Additional AP for Monsters +2, Monster Damage Reduction +2, Additional Special Attack Damage +0.5%, Special Attack Evasion Rate +0.5%, All Resistance +2%, Ignore All Resistance +2%, Combat/Skill EXP +30%, Item Drop Rate +5%)
That’s a lot of stats. It’s certainly a BiS crystal, but be aware that only one can be attached to the dedicated socket.
After this, Killed Quality of life updates:
- Silver goes to the whole family. No more alt sifting!
- The Shakatu Seal has been reworked with more satisfying rewards.
- Crystal Presets will be available “soon” and may appear first in Global Lab.
- PA is currently not happy with DP’s functionality in PvP, so DP bracket will be considered
- Arena of Solare Season 2 Starts December 28th
- In addition to the ongoing Ferreia Dreadnought ship, we have plans to update sea and sailing content.
- You can open the box while mounted
- You can now change your character and UI when you are your first character account Reached Level 10 (Finally!)
- Guilds will receive multiple improvements. This includes, but is not limited to, restructuring contract payments and incentive payments.
- Flashing effect when HP is low will be changed as soon as possible
Calpheon Ball continues to hit hard with upcoming content and new features. I am often amazed that Black Desert is so good at this that it continues to do so year after year. What features are you most excited about?
