Officers said point-of-sale (POS) skimmers were installed at cash registers inside Walmart stores at 2628 South Main Street and 2710 North Main Street.
Investigators say many of the victims benefit from the Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP).
We recommend that you call immediately to check your account balance.
To request a replacement card, contact your local social services office or call 336-641-3000. Police also recommend that people create an EBT EDGE account for him and block out-of-state and online transactions.
