Alexa has friends. He met Disney’s new voice assistant at CES this week and it’s so cute. Dubbed “Disney’s Magical Companion,” this disembodied voice is born from fairy dust and lives inside Amazon’s Echo smart her speaker and display. Its purpose is to summon various characters, including Disney, Pixar, and Star Wars favorites, to help with common voice assistant chores (timers, alarms, weather), or to enjoy stories, games, and other Disney elements.
