SAN ANTONIO — A Walmart on the east side returned to normal operations after a cleaning fluid spill caused an evacuation around noon Thursday.
The shop is located along 4000 blocks of N Foster Road.
Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said earlier around noon, “some of the cleaning solutions were accidentally mixed, creating a strong stench in the store that apparently necessitated evacuation.” “There is no chemical spill and the mixture is contained, but employees will remain outside until the store is ventilated of odors.”
Store officials confirmed the location reopened at 2:30 p.m.
