An alleged former employee said she was fired after a viral TikTok video showed the inside of the rigorous inventory process at her Walmart store.

TikToker @stephunleashed shared the news of her alleged dismissal in a video claiming she was once a “coach at Walmart.”
In the clip, alleged employee Stephanie tears up one of her old work clothes and a fist pump, with the text “Love is a hate feeling, but here’s the baby of 2023” on the screen.
She claimed to have been let go because of a behind-the-scenes TikTok, re-sharing what allegedly got her into big trouble.
In a follow-up video, a Walmart coach guided a follower through the store’s inventory shift, claiming she works a 17-hour day.


“This is the worst inventory I’ve had at Walmart in about 20 years,” she said.
According to Walmart’s website, coaches “support teams by ensuring their goals align with those of the business” and help colleagues with long-term career planning.
“I’m getting three and a half hours of sleep. I worked 17 hours yesterday. It’s day 9 out of 10,” Stephanie said.
She then shared a video of employees teaming up around the store as they inspect the merchandise on the sales floor.
Inventories come to the store and count each item, according to the former employee.
Workers then have to recount afterwards to double check the numbers.
Stephanie recorded a video of herself scanning barcodes with her handheld device and recording the quantity of each item on the shelf.
The process seemed long, but in the end the team got the job done.
“After 13 hours it was done,” she says at the end of the three-minute clip.
“I didn’t stop for the numbers, but I’m sure it’s not going to be good.
“That wraps it up. I’m exhausted. I broke my fingernail. Rest in peace. Tomorrow will be my 10th day, and then I’ll be on vacation.”

Stephanie didn’t disclose why she was fired, but posted another follow-up video speculating that the president of Walmart saw her on TikTok.
“He must have enjoyed all of them,” she wrote in the caption.
News of her alleged dismissal sparked controversy with comments about whether Stephanie’s post justified her dismissal.
