A Walmart employee has gone viral for sharing a money-saving hack that many people are unaware of.
TikTok user Katrina Schmidt has been praised for her handy ideas for saving money and ensuring the best products at Walmart.

In one of her videos, Katrina, dancing in a Walmart vest, lists all the ideas, starting with comparing prices in stores and online.
Katrina recommends stocking up on day-old bakery goods, but skipping produce.
One user mentioned why Walmart’s products may not be the best.
They said: “It’s something you don’t usually go to the regular grocery store. It will spoil faster.”


Katrina suggested using the online cash back app Ibotta to receive cash back on all purchases at the retail chain.
You can also save up to 3 cents cash back per gallon when you use a Walmart gift card on gas.
For expectant mothers, Katrina revealed that Walmart is offering a free baby welcome basket.
Each basket is stocked with healing salves, diapers, baby wipes, baby soap, and other products to help new parents and babies.
When it comes to electronics, Katrina told me that many of the locked glass cases contain the cheapest electronics in the store.
“A typical prescription costs less than $5,” she said.
Competition for Amazon Prime may be fierce. Katrina says Walmart also offers free two-day shipping on almost all items.
Her final piece of advice is, “skip the furniture.”
