Delhi Metro will provide coupons to promote free travel to those visiting Cartavia Pass to attend the Republic Day ceremonies on 26 January 2023. Coupon will be provided to the holder of a genuine e-invitation card or e-ticket. This is the first time the ceremony has been held on the boulevard since Rajpat was renamed ‘Cartavia Pass’ last year.

Coupons can be picked up at any Delhi Metro station. Tickets or coupons are issued for travel on Thursdays between 4:30am and 8:00am. However, exits with these coupons are available until 02:00 PM.
Those attending the R-Day celebrations should only exit from Central Secretariat, Udyog Bhawan or Mandi House metro stations. In a statement, Metro officials asked people to carry government-issued photo ID, which they must present at Metro stations to receive coupons.
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) will also deploy additional staff at three stations to meet the expected additional rush.

Tickets can be purchased both online and offline. You can purchase tickets directly by visiting aamantran.mod.gov.in. Separately, tickets can be purchased from a dedicated booth or counter upon creation of an original photo ID card. Children under the age of 5 are not permitted. The cost of a Republic Day parade ticket varies from Rs 20 to Rs 500, while a ticket for the Beating Retreat (January 28, 2023) costs Rs 20.
