    Using a TikTok grant awarded to Laredo College, the school announced this week that nursing students have received a starter kit to prepare them for their next career.

    “Laredo College congratulates and hopes our nursing students are on the path to care for our community,” LC said in a statement. Using the money, students received starter kits to help them on their journey.”

    Each student kit is worth about $700 and includes materials such as stethoscopes, uniforms, and coupons for online platforms.

    LC is the only community college in the nation to receive an award from TikTok in 2020.
