converse, texas – A man was arrested after stealing a box truck full of Raffles Chips from a Walmart store and leading authorities into a lengthy chase through town, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.
Delegates and Converse police were first called on Jan. 10 for a stolen vehicle at a Walmart store on the 8000 block of FM 78 in Converse.
When agents pursued the vehicle, they realized it was the Raffles Rays Chips Box Truck, heading for Cavendish Court.
The suspect, 27-year-old Jeff Jetin, was driving a box truck when he jumped out of it and sent it into the back of a pickup truck, BCSO said.
An agent said the wreck caused a pickup truck to crash into a local resident’s garage door.
According to the BCSO, Jetin continued to flee from authorities and jumped fences in residential areas. However, after a lengthy chase and search, agents were able to track him down and arrest him without incident, according to officials.
He has been charged with stealing a vehicle valued at $30,000 to less than $150,000 and evading arrest/detention with a vehicle. increase.
“At this time, investigators are trying to determine if MO was hungry or simply in love with frilly chips,” the BCSO said.
