Chicago (CBS) — An Amazon warehouse in Waukegan has been cited by the federal government for several safety violations.
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) investigators have found that workers here are at particularly high risk of lower back injuries.
This was due to the need to lift heavy objects and hold awkward postures for long periods of time. Two of his other facilities were also cited in Florida and New York.
Amazon penalty: just over $60,000.
