Veteran DeMario Davis, who was shopping with his son, told the outlet he spotted the crazy man and waited for the moment he intervened.
“I was at the register when I noticed my son walked into the store with an open knife,” he said. “He then went to the service desk wielding a knife at several female employees.”
He said the knifeman shouted, “When the cops get here, they’re going to start chopping you all up.”
Ms Davis said she saw another customer try to stop him, but then tried to cut his face.

“That’s when my military training began, and I casually approached the object and not only knocked him down, but protected myself in case of failure. But good military training allowed me to We were able to neutralize the threat until law enforcement arrived,” Davis told Fox News.
The video shows Davis grabbing a prop and hitting the man on the head from behind. The man fell to the ground, dropped his knife, and another customer stood over him and quickly scooped it up.
The customer held off the knifeman until a deputy arrived.
The sheriff’s office said the man was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
