The Walmart Supercenter store in Naperville is hosting a Wellness Day on Saturday, January 14th from 10am to 2pm. During this period, customers can get free health checks and low-cost vaccinations at pharmacies.
Some of the services offered include free glucose, cholesterol, BMI, blood pressure screenings, COVID-19, flu, measles, mumps, pneumonia, tetanus, hepatitis, HPV, rubella, chickenpox/shingles, whooping cough. There are affordable vaccinations such as to the news release. The pharmacist will respond to the test results.
Some stores will also offer vision tests, according to the release.
Over 4,600 Walmart stores nationwide will host Wellness Day events on Saturday. The Naperville store is located at 2552 W. 75th St.

North Central College in Naperville will host its annual prayer luncheon in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday, January 16 at noon.
The keynote speaker will be Tracie Morris, Chief People Officer, Corewell Health. Performed by the College Praise Gospel Choir.
The event will be held at Stevenson Hall at the Wentz Science Center at 131 S. Loomis St.
There will also be hourly teach-in events at the Wentz Science Center on Mondays from 9am to noon. The event aims to engage the community in discussions on race, equity, inclusion, and King’s goals of peace and justice. Some sessions may also be delivered using Zoom.

Adrian Aldrich is the new president of the board of directors of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce.
Aldrich, Vice Chancellor for Institutional Development at North Central College in Naperville, has been president-elect since last year and will serve as chairman this year and next year.
In addition to Aldrich, six members have been elected to the Board of Directors for a three-year term beginning January 1.
They are Mike Bakker of Dutchman Heating & Cooling Inc., Michele Clemen of Avenida Naperville, Jessica Cunningham of Navistar, Cheryl Green of PNC Bank, Patti Minglin of Go Girl Communications, and Donna Ufnal of Naperville Bank and Trust.
