A Walmart employee is left with several gunshot wounds after a failed carjacking attempt.
Police rushed to a supermarket in Waxahachie, Texas on Saturday after receiving reports of a shooting.

An 18-year-old Walmart employee was shot several times after being ambushed while walking to his car, police said.
Officers said two armed and masked suspects fled the scene after the shooting.
Police said the man is expected to make a full recovery after being hospitalized.
The victim’s name has not been released and police have not made any arrests as part of the investigation.

There have been a spate of reports of shootings at Walmart in recent months.
On Dec. 27, a man and a woman were shot after two groups got into an argument while waiting for a self-checkout at a supermarket in Mobile, Alabama.
They were taken from the scene with non-life-threatening injuries, WPMI reports.
Shoppers fled the scene and police cordoned off the supermarket as part of an investigation.
Police have since identified suspects Karmelo Derks, 18, Jimaurice Pierce, 19, and Darrius Rowser, 19.
In November last year, seven people were killed in a shooting at a Walmart store in Chesapeake, Virginia.
Andre Bing opened fire before turning the weapon on himself during a deadly rampage.
Police found a 9mm handgun, a box of ammunition, and documents related to firearm purchases.
The victim was identified as Brian Pendleton, age 38. Kelly Pyle; Lorenzo Gamble, 43; Randy Blevins, 70 years old. Tineka Johnson, 22 years old. and 16-year-old Fernando Chavez Baron.
Chavez-Barron had just started working at the store because he wanted to help his family.
Doña Priorau, who was in the break room when Bing walked in and opened fire, told CNN, “He said a lot of disturbing things.”
she claimed[Bing] Came in and shot three of my friends…half of us didn’t believe it was real until we saw blood on the floor. ”
Prioleau described Bing as “condescending” and lacking “great communication skills”, adding that it was “very mean to many of us.”
Witnesses to the shooting said Bing appeared to be targeting certain people.


Jessica Wilczewski told the Associated Press: “His behavior was going hunting.
“He was choosing people for the way he looked in their faces and did what he did.”
