They found love at the corporate location.
A Tennessee couple revealed they fell in love with each other while working at Walmart — despite the fact that they were both married to other people.
Brad Downs, 56, and now-wife Chelsea, 34, met at one of the discount department stores in 2012 and were immediately “attracted to each other” despite their 21-year age difference.
“I worked at a Walmart hair salon and Brad was the store manager,” Chelsea told the South West News Service in an interview on Tuesday. I had to ask to sort it out.
“The moment we met, we were inseparable. It wasn’t love at first sight, but the connection was undeniable, even though I thought he was a cocky jerk.” ‘ she further recalled.
The pair quickly embarked on a sleazy affair before being arrested by one of Chelsea’s family members.
“We went to a park near Walmart to meet, but our town is so small we got caught,” Chelsea admitted. It wasn’t popular.”

At the time, Chelsea had a two-year-old daughter and had been married to her husband since she was 19.
She said she felt “horrible” at betraying her spouse, but also felt “relieved” that her unhappy marriage was over.
“I lost myself, had no fire, no passion, no drive,” she recalled of her ill-fated marriage.
Chelsea said many close-minded locals blamed her for the incident and began trolling her on anonymous forum sites.
“People said terrible things – I’m a homewrecker, a hoe, and I should lose my daughter,” said the blonde. “It took a huge toll on my mental health.”

Despite the community’s disapproval, Chelsea developed a love for Brad. Two years later, the Walmart employee welcomed his son, Carson.
They finally tied the knot in 2017 and have lived happily together ever since.
Before getting married, the couple even declared that they had “recommitted their lives to God and practiced celibacy until marriage.”
But in addition to the infidelity, the couple’s large age gap was also frowned upon.
Brad’s daughter, Jessica, who is only two years younger than Chelsea, took time to come to terms with her father’s unconventional new relationship.
But now she’s a big supporter and Chelsea are rooting for her.

Meanwhile, Brad and Chelsea’s son, now eight, is often mistaken for Brad’s grandson.
“People will say to Brad, ‘Is this your daughter, your grandson?’ ‘,” Chelsea explained.
Brad spoke affectionately about his colleague-turned-wife in an interview with the South West News Service
“Chelsea brings life to life,” he said calmly. “She puts love, relationships, and family at the forefront of her everyday life. will inform
“We learn from the mistakes we made in the past and apply those lessons to our lives today to improve our lives and not repeat the same mistakes,” he added.

The two did not disclose whether they still work together at Walmart, but they are lucky to have met at Walmart 10 years ago.
“It took years before I was comfortable with myself. I forgave myself and we asked my ex-spouse and God for forgiveness,” Chelsea said. It was an unconventional way of building a family and a family, but it worked.
“It may sound clichéd, but you should follow your heart. Your heart knows exactly what you want,” she added. “Don’t be afraid to see where life takes you.”
